TACACS+ (Terminal Access Controller Access Control System Plus) ist ein Cisco-proprietäres AAA-Protokoll, das Authentifizierung, Autorisierung und Accounting für den administrativen Zugriff auf Netzwerkgeräte bereitstellt. Im Gegensatz zu RADIUS verschlüsselt TACACS+ das gesamte Payload und trennt die drei AAA-Funktionen, was feingranulare Berechtigungen (z. B. bestimmte CLI-Befehle erlauben/verbieten) ermöglicht. TACACS+ ist in Cisco-lastigen Umgebungen der Standard für das Device-Access-Management.
