The process is simple and straightforward:

We erase data using certified erasure software in accordance with NIST SP 800-88 (Rev. 2) and IEEE 2883 – and, on request, in line with your country’s erasure standard. Every erasure is documented, and you will receive an audit-proof erasure certificate for each storage device. Storage devices that cannot be erased due to a defect are physically destroyed in accordance with DIN 66399 / ISO/IEC 21964.

A data erasure certificate is the written proof that the data on a storage device has been securely and irreversibly erased. We issue a separate certificate for each storage device. It records, among other things, the serial number of the storage device, the erasure standard applied and the result of the erasure. With these certificates, you can document your erasure obligations as the controller under the GDPR – for internal audits, ISO certifications or your IT asset disposition (ITAD) records.

The buyback price mainly depends on the manufacturer, model and generation, the configuration (such as CPU, memory and drives), the condition and completeness of the devices, and current demand on the second-hand market. The more detailed your equipment list – ideally with model names, serial numbers and configuration – the faster we can prepare a binding quote for you.

Yes! We also assess EOL (End-of-Life) and EOS (End-of-Sale) hardware. We examine faulty devices on a case-by-case basis – components such as RAM, CPUs or SSDs can often still be reused for refurbishment.

Yes, we organise the collection of your IT hardware from your premises anywhere in the EU. On request, we can also take care of professional packaging. Logistics and transport costs are already included in our service.
