Every storage device – whether SAS, SATA, SSD or NVMe – undergoes a strictly logged erasure process with us: certified data erasure in accordance with NIST SP 800-88 (Rev. 2) – on request in line with your country’s erasure standard – with an erasure certificate for each storage device.
Unlike a simple format, this process removes the data in such a way that it cannot be recovered. For each storage device, you will receive an erasure certificate including serial number recording. With this audit-proof evidence, you can document your erasure obligations as the controller under the GDPR – for internal audits, compliance requirements and inspections. Storage devices that are defective and cannot be erased via software are physically destroyed in accordance with DIN 66399 / ISO/IEC 21964.

No. You can hand over your servers complete with all storage devices – whether SAS, SATA, SSD or NVMe. We erase every storage device using certified erasure software in accordance with NIST SP 800-88 (Rev. 2) and IEEE 2883 – and, on request, in line with your country’s erasure standard. You will receive an audit-proof erasure certificate for each storage device. Storage devices that cannot be erased due to a defect are physically destroyed in accordance with DIN 66399 / ISO/IEC 21964. If your internal policies require storage devices to stay on site, please get in touch – we also assess servers without drives.
Functional servers often still have a residual value even after years in operation – disposal means losing that value, and disposal itself incurs costs. When you sell to us, you receive the residual value, certified data erasure with an erasure certificate for each storage device is included, and you get complete documentation for your records. Systems that can no longer be reused are sent for recycling in accordance with legal requirements. Send us your equipment list and our quote will show you what your servers are still worth.
Yes! We also assess EOL (End-of-Life) and EOS (End-of-Sale) hardware – older server generations are in demand, for example as spare or expansion systems for existing environments. We examine faulty servers on a case-by-case basis – components such as processors, memory, power supplies, RAID controllers or network cards can often still be reused.
