Buy ExtremeSummit X670 Switches
The Extreme Summit X670 switches are among the most powerful aggregation and core switches in Extreme Networks’ portfolio. As a modular and stackable platform, they have been specifically designed for demanding network environments where high port density, low latency and maximum availability are crucial. In our shop, you’ll find a wide selection of Extreme Summit X670 models – tested, available immediately and at attractive prices.
There are various models to choose from within the X670 series. The Summit X670-48x offers 48 SFP+ ports with 10 Gigabit Ethernet and is ideal as an aggregation Switch in larger networks. The Summit X670V-48t, on the other hand, provides 48 10GBASE-T copper ports and enables the direct connection of servers and storage systems via existing copper cabling. Both models can be combined into high-availability Switch stacks using Extreme SummitStack, thereby offering a scalable solution for growing infrastructures.
Typical applications for the Extreme X670 Switches include data centres, campus networks and high-performance enterprise environments. The platform is ideally suited as a 10GbE aggregation Switch, for connecting servers in data centres, or as a core Switch in medium-sized networks. Thanks to ExtremeXOS, administrators benefit from comprehensive management functions, granular Quality of Service control and advanced security features such as policy-based access control.
From a technical perspective, the Summit X670 switches impress with a switching capacity of up to 1.28 Tbit/s, non-blocking wire-speed performance on all ports, and support for Layer 2 and Layer 3 routing, OSPF, BGP and virtual router redundancy. The redundant hot-swap power supplies and fan modules ensure uninterrupted operation, even in business-critical environments.
Refurbished Extreme Summit X670 Switches offer a cost-effective alternative to buying new. Each unit is thoroughly tested, cleaned and shipped with the latest firmware. This means you get enterprise-grade networking technology at a significantly reduced price – without compromising on quality or reliability.
