The Cisco Nexus 2224TF Fabric Extender is a high-performance expansion module from the tried-and-tested Nexus 2000 series, designed for modern data centre environments. As a Fabric Extender, the N2K-C2224TF-1GE enables seamless expansion of Switching capacity whilst simplifying the network architecture through centralised management via the parent Switch.
The module offers 24 fixed-configuration Gigabit Ethernet ports and is ideal for connecting servers in top-of-rack scenarios. Thanks to FEX technology, all configuration tasks are carried out centrally on the Nexus parent Switch, which significantly reduces the administrative workload. The Cisco Nexus 2224TF Fabric Extender supports a consistent network policy across all connected ports and ensures high availability through redundant uplink connections. Its compact design allows for space-saving installation in the rack.
